Software Modules

At the core of the system a MySQL database is used. It contains all the data that is captured via the Communications server which communicates with the factory floor. Around this core, a number of modules are made available - each of which can be run on any networked machine that is connected to the database. Several user authorisation levels are built into the system.

· SmartConfig is where the entire system is configured in an easy drag-and-drop fashion. Here, machine definitions are made and all measurement points clarified to the capturing system.

· SmartLive is a combination of real-time screen and instantaneous trend viewing. The Live screen can be created on the spot with various metering display options.

· SmartHistory analyses data and generates any type of required report, be it shift or operator  reports, machine productivity reports or even highly specialised queries.

· SmartAlert continually analyses all the data and is capable of generating alarms on limits and/or trends
