Description

Smartfactory is a low-cost monitoring system that provides a plug-and-play interface for sensors and systems in any production environment. It monitors process execution and provides real-time feedback in addition to reporting  and alarming functions.

 

Designed and developed by the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), it allows a factory to monitor its entire manufacturing line and, from reported data, make the relevant adjustments to its processes. The system is easy to install, easy to maintain and is also modular, so that the system can be scaled to suit specific needs. The system is an integration of hardware modules and a suite of software.
